Flush Bracket on N.W. angle of cottage at Blenheim Farm [2GL] - probable location; FB 2034 was presumably replaced by FB G1787; note that FB 2034 was on the N face of the cottage at the NW angle, wheareas the later FB G1787 is on the W face.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 291.2420 feet [88.7706 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Great Linford to Wallingford levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.W. angle of cottage at Blenheim Farm.

Visited on 16th September 2004 by RHW. Grid reference: SU 636 881. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Blenheim Farm: cottage. Cottage S side of farm entr, FB on W elev. FB hidden by dense ivy, only bottom 4cm visible, not numbers: FB originally taken to be this, from OS 2GL list, but is probably G1787 (log amended following revisit 13/9/06)
