This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 299.7450 feet [91.3623 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Hemel Hempstead to Buntingford levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of printing works, S. side of Hatfield Road.

Visited on 15th November 2013 by FRI. Condition: Destroyed.
for information, the print building was demolished in the 1970's. The OS request the return of the FB when they are removed but if developers are not aware of the OS system then they are most likely sent for scrap?

Visited on 30th March 2008 by RHW. Grid reference: TL 166 072. Condition: Couldn't find it.
No sign of old printing works: houses and newer buildings. Gone?
