It was included on the Hemel Hempstead to Buntingford levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of battlement of bridge at Corn Mill, Hertingfordbury.

FB in good condition, not as overgrown as previous visits logged, there is also a circular EABM (environmental agency bench mark) set in the bridge a bit further round the corner.

Visited on 30th March 2008 by RHW. Grid reference: TL 3069 1218. Condition: Good.
SE face of parapet W side of road, SW end. Set high, behind curtain of ivy.
