This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 171.0850 feet [52.1467 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Longhorsley to Belford levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. battlement of bridge at Glenshotton.

Bridge intact, loop of old rd, FB poss buried or lurking on back face, but assume replaced by G2727.
