This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 225.8860 feet [68.8501 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Waltham-on-the-Wolds to Navenby levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.E. angle of house at S.W. side of junction of roads, N. end of Navenby.

No. 2 High Street, Navenby, on the SW corner of the junction with the dead-end North Lane, not really a cross-roads. The FB is on the SE angle, facing the pavement.
