Flush Bracket on building adjoining Tide Gauge, entrance to George's Pierhead - estimated location; note that the description for FB 2603 in the Flush Bracket Register duplicates the description shown for FB 2607 in the 2GL abstract, so there evidently was (and still is) some confusion as to the actual FB number! FB 2607 reported 1947 as destroyed.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 20.4910 feet [6.2457 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Liverpool F.B.M. to Liverpool Tide Gauge levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on building adjoining Tide Gauge, entrance to George's Pierhead.
