This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 324.9650 feet [99.0493 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Wicken to Clare levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of cottages at junction of roads, E. from corn mills, S. end of Pound Green.

Logged Visits
Visited on 13th August 2005 by RHW. Grid reference: TL 7175 5367. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Wall thick rendering, no trace of BM. Current owner been there 2 years only but knowledgeable about history of buildings. On LandLine, middle of E face, would have been NE angle of what was used as kiln until closed in 1904. Guess it's there under the rendering but PD seems best status.
