This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 136.8960 feet [41.7259 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Waltham on the Wolds to Navenby levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. angle of barn at angle of road, Lodge Farm.

The barn is part of the farm property a bit further up the track and not anything to do with the closer properties. Permission to photograph was given at the farm via a mobile phone. The barn's survival is not going to be for much longer, it seems. See for photos.

SW angle S gable of brick barn immediately W of house. Not visible from road. Been meaning to revisit 2132 and 2133 for some years - and both still present :-)
