Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 162.3950 feet [49.4980 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Waltham on the Wolds to Navenby levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S. face of N. battlement of railway bridge, N. from Leadenham Railway Station.

Logged Visits
Visited on 19th August 2010 by Brisey. Condition: Destroyed.
No FB visible, the brickwork of the parapet is different from the rest of the arch, and the lowest two courses of the parapet's brickwork are concreted over on the road side. So it has gone or been buried. The OS lists a rivet on the other parapet but I didn't look for it.

Visited on 11th September 2004 by RHW. Condition: Destroyed.
LandLine has another BM at wrong height & location - N face of SE battlement, not found on site
