It was included on the Oswestry to Church Stretton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S. face of N. battlement of bridge, S.E. end of Knockin Rectory Grounds [2GL].

The bridge parapet is made of huge solid slabs of stone. The hole where the FB was is clearly visible filled with concrete at pavement level near the W end of the bridge.

Visited on 19th October 2007 by Calico. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Agreed. Looked all over and couldn't find it.

Visited on 19th December 2004 by RHW. Condition: Couldn't find it.
Not found on old stone parapet, don't recall whether looked on back face...
