It was included on the Melbourne to Waltham on the Wolds levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.E. angle of cottage, Hathern Turn.

Hathern. N.E. angle of cottage, Hathern Turn.. Was hidden when I searched previously- by hedge? Now fairly obvious

College Garth, NE wall, around 2 metres from E angle. Just visible from footpath (former road). BM 42.00m on LandLine, which matches 2GL height.

Visited on 20th November 2004 by RHW. Grid reference: SK 498 227. Condition: Probably destroyed.
No sign of FB, some alterations to house including stone facing, and porch at NE angle. Also checked small brick building behind cat(and dogg)ery. BM still on MasterMap I'm told.
