Called by to take a closer look now that the conversion work has been completed. The pair of semi-detached cottages have now been converted to a pair of larger houses, with extensions at both ends of the building, including on the W face which carried the FB. Occupier friendly but had no knowledge of FB. Checked external walls to see if the FB had been repositioned, but no sign. FB has presumably either been removed or else covered up. If the FB was still in its original place on what is now an internal wall, it would now be hidden under plaster.

The pair of semi-detached cottages have now been converted to a single residence, with extensions at both ends of the building, including on the W face which carried the FB. Unless the FB has been preserved on what would now be an internal wall, it must be presumed destroyed

W face of #1 Ivy Cottages, S side of A6006. BM 79.67m on LandLine. FB hidden behind slabs against wall and guarded by dogs, but owner happy for me to inspect the FB. Within a few metres, LandLine also shows BM 80.16m, evidently on #2 Ivy Cottages, and also BM 80.35m, which is presumably Cold Harbour TP (FB S1636)
