Called at The Lodge, asked after "the benchmark", and was invited in to see the FB. It was displayed on a shelf, but owner showed me its original location (on what is now an interior wall).

Location (SK 6694 2200) confirmed from large scale maps, so it should be 35 chains *NE* (rather than SE, as in the 2GL description) from Lawn Lane, at what is now "The Lodge". All buildings look too new. A quick look showed no sign of FB but I did not call to ask to examine the buildings closely.

only house looks a bit new, part rendered, no obvious sign of FB
