It was included on the Melbourne to Waltham on the Wolds levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S. end of stable, 15 chains S.E. from The Willows.

No sign of FB. Spoke to farmer on site, who remembers a bench mark. Its location was apparently roughly at the position of the double doors of the present barn.

Location (SK 7469 2416) confirmed from large scale maps (more like 35 chains SE from The Willows, rather than 15 chains as in 2GL descripton). No sign of FB on site.

Visited on 20th November 2004 by RHW. Condition: Probably destroyed.
old maps show BM on S face near SE angle N side of road at Grange Farm. Current buildings too new, no sign of FB
