Luckily, the lady of the old school house was coming out as I arrived so I was able to ask and get permission to have a look around. There is rendering to a low level on much of the house but some brickwork merely painted. I could not find the FB. Old-Maps shows a BM 503.31 until 1952, the 1930 map best showing its location on the NW face close to the W angle. This is just around from the entrance porch and I think I would have seen it had it still been there.

If on Buckminster Primary School (on SW side of road), then NW face would be inside extension. However, FB is more likely to be on "Old School House" (opposite on NE side of road) - not checked - getting too dark!.
