This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 217.9720 feet [66.4379 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Troon to Newlyn (Tolcarne) levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on W. face of building opposite All Saints Church, Bosence Road.

lucky to still be there, with the building work on each side and rendering etc. but it survives covered in black paint, still visible, chatted to owner who seemed interested in the FB.

Church opp is now a house and not very obvious. Fb painted black on white wall. High up.

Visited on 27th July 2005 by iainmac. Grid reference: SW 5813 3258. Condition: Good.
Has it been moved ? My notes indicate the W face has extension and fb is on N face.
