Revisited today and removed the fb. Site has been sold to developers although no sign of anything happening. An hours hard work with hammer, sledge hammer, various cold chisels and a strong husband! Security guard cheerfully refused to give his name or have a photo taken. Not with people nicking things from site. Contact me to view.

Mid week morning security guard very affable. He had helped Ian's contact to find it and was happy to direct me to it. Straight ahead from gate. Turn L twix the two rows of single storey buildings. It is on the right beyond a dark, wooden extension, at the top of an access ramp, below large, white 2B identifying building. It is a BsM fb.

Offices have closed. Security guard still on duty and would not let me in.

ADMIN LOG: Reported found 06/08/2007. Offices due to close in December 2007, and scheduled for demolition.

But security guard would not let me in. Couldn't see it from outside. Site contains several low brick buildings. Guard told me - built pre-war as a hospital and used as POW camp for Italians. He knew nothing of OS use. Now used by Dept of Pensions and Work. I saw a planning application notice for houses on a lamp post so if the fb does survive its days may be numbered.
