This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 299.1580 feet [91.1834 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Alfriston to Croydon levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.W. end of cottages, E. side of road, N.N.E. from Baptist Chapel, Highgate.

Apparently replaced by G2024 on chapel. SE face extended. NW face appears original, some shrubs, owner sure there's no FB there. She has a picture of the house prior to extension.
