Flush Bracket on E. face of building, S.W. angle of lane, back of Myton Crescent [2GL] - FB reported destroyed 17/02/1977. Estimated location - note that previously suggested locations of SP 304 650 and SP 3029 6526 were incorrect.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 175.3940 feet [53.4601 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Warwick to Daventry levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of building, S.W. angle of lane, back of Myton Crescent.

Visited on 9th January 2011 by dal. Condition: Probably destroyed.
A BM is shown on the post-WWII map that is consistent with the description. There is no longer a building there.

Visited on 7th November 2004 by RHW. Grid reference: SP 304 650. Condition: Couldn't find it.
Seems more likely to be at main road end, but only hedges and newish walls here. Most check out the canalside sometime...
