[ADMIN NOTE] Kirkby Stephen (1976) FBM is a 3GL style concrete pillar, rather than a 2GL style granite pillar, so the original pillar was NOT reused at the new site. Kirkby Stephen (1976) FBM was evidently constructed and levelled before the original 1912 FBM was destroyed.
Logged on 12th July 2007 by dal. Condition: Probably destroyed.
I looked up the location having visited the FBM. The location is at the junction of the A683 and A685, which appears to have been re-modelled, quite possibly in the 70s.
Logged on 9th July 2007 by RogerTempleman. Condition: Destroyed.
The grid reference is within the current A685, so suspect the site was lost to road widening.

No trace. Under road.
