This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 326.1660 feet [99.4154 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Warwick to Daventry levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. face of bridge over canal, on road from Nethercote to Sawbridge.

Visited on 4th May 2014 by dal. Condition: Probably destroyed.
I agree. I suspect the bridge is a replacement since the OS found the FB in 1963. Note the FB was on the opposite side of the canal to the towpath.

Visited on 8th November 2004 by RHW. Condition: Probably destroyed.
No sign of FB, probably lost either to 1930s widening or later repairs (arch has been spray-concreted)
