Flush Bracket on S.W. angle of the Railway Inn, Cliburn [2GL] - note location refined to NY 5879 2488 from NY 587 248; FB reported 10/1952 as inaccessible (covered by drainpipe); presumably replaced by G2358 nearby.

It was included on the Kirkby Stephen to Penrith levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. angle of the Railway Inn, Cliburn.

Cliburn. On pub - The Golden Pheasant at crossroads at N. end of village. NE quadtrant of jct, SE cnr of building, S face. FB not fully legible - whitened pebbledash with drain pipe in front. 2GL gives the name of pub as The Railway Inn.
