This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 65.3480 feet [19.9181 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Wetherby to Bulmer levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of building, S. side of road, 3 chains N.W. from Peck Bridge, Acomb Green.

The 1938 1:10560 Yorkshire map shows the building (and BM) roadside.
It has been demolished and newer housing built further back.
The dip where Peck Bridge was is visible and the stream must have been culverted.

No sign even of a bridge and had a look around but no sign of a fb
