First time I've seen one of this type of benchmark. Located high up on the parapet at train line level. Easy wire fence to hop over and short walk up the embankment to the bracket. Photo at www.jonglew.com/Walking/Benchmarks/2013/20130427-RailwayBridgeGreatWishfordWilts-ProjectingBracket-3.jpg

I was unable to get too close to the bracket but could see it clearly through a long lens on the camera, for a picture see http://www.flickr.com/photos/62334092@N03/7804058840/in/photostream
