Flush Bracket OSBM 364: Edithmead Bridge   

Flush Bracket on abutment of Edithmead Bridge, over railway [2GL]; Edithmead Bridge, E side of railway, S face (ODN 6.3612m, AGL 0.5m). The 1930 map shows the FB on the south side of the south parapet, 17ft below the cut mark on the north parapet - the height indicates that the FB will be at rail level rather than road level.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 20.8410 feet [6.3523 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the North Petherton to Flax Bourton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on abutment of Edithmead Bridge, over railway.

Tried to find this. The bridge has been damaged over time. No sign on visible bridge parapit.
