It was included on the North Petherton to Flax Bourton (Axmouth to Perry Farm Branch) levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on wall of letter-box at cross roads, S. of Ashford Farm.

Visited on 5th March 2006 by the_cheshire_cat. Grid reference: ST 2357 3884. Condition: Probably destroyed.
No obvious sign of wall at X-roads. Letterbox is on metal post, inscribed "ER", so preumably modern.

Visited on 5th August 2005 by iainmac. Condition: Couldn't find it.
Looks to have been replaced with modern post box on metal post.
