It was included on the North Petherton to Flax Bourton (Stolford Branch) levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. side of smithy, Burton.

On N facing wall of The Smithy. Thick coat(s) black paint but numbers readable and could be easily cleaned up, unlike the cut mark on same building that has been rendered off face of the planet. Photos at:

Position as described. Smithy is in centre of triangle of roads in village. Building appears to have been rendered since FB installed, obscuring edges of plate. Heavily painted.
