It was included on the North Petherton to Flax Bourton (Stolford Branch) levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. side of smithy, Burton.

Position as described. Smithy is in centre of triangle of roads in village. Building appears to have been rendered since FB installed, obscuring edges of plate. Heavily painted.
