This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 267.1480 feet [81.4267 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Suckley to Church Stretton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.E. face, W. parapet of Ludford Bridge over River Teme.

Ludford Bridge, NE face of W parapet at N end of bridge. FB stands slightly proud of the wall, so may have been reset in the wall at some stage. Bridge under repair at time of visit, so closed to vehicular traffic, but FB not affected by the work. BM 81.42m on MasterMap.
