A49- Stratford Bridge. Stratford Bridge, A49, behind loose stone at back of N end of E parapet. After ted. Still in its hiding place - see bench-marks.org.uk

The FB was on the parapet of the bridge over the river Onny, W side of A49, N of Craven Arms. But only just - it had evidently taken a knock from a passing vehicle and was skewed at an angle of 45 degrees and about to fall off. Rather than see it taken by someone as a souvenir I've placed the bracket behind the parapet on the E side of the road and left covered by a stone. Not sure how long it will survive there. Doubt that the local council would consider the cost of restoring it.
