This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 53.8760 feet [16.4214 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Perth to St Andrews levelling line. The surveyor's description was E face, NE angle of "Baijlie Inn" [sic], SW side of road.

Bad news! Upon a revisit, I can confirm that the recent makeover on this building means that this FB is either rendered over or removed altogether. Totally unprofessional on the part of those responsible for this act of felony.
As it was 15/05/2007:

Visited on 26th May 2015 by cjo. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Converted to house, builders completing work. Total render so suspect lost. There is a row of black painted brick at ground level it is therefore possible that something remains.

Visited on 9th August 2012 by droggy. Condition: Good.
Still there. Inn is now for sale and looks as though it has been empty for a few months now.

Visited on 15th May 2007 by clochandighter. Condition: Good.
Revisit. Busy hotel / restaurant at date of visit. Easy access from road. FB painted black to match building borders. May since have been lost to rendering (2015) during conversion to house.
