This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Buckland to Sapperton levelling line. The surveyor's description was E face of building at NE angle of Harnhill Mill, N side of road.

Visited on 2nd February 2008 by RHW. Grid reference: SP 0710 0169. Condition: Couldn't find it.
GR took me to large house immediately W of cottages. Girl I spoke to said it wasn't Harnhill Mill. Couldn't see FB. There is an old mill in the village. Could see no FB there either. Had expected to see a previous log, as status is Repositioned on site - but apparently not. Intriguing. 11/9/05 ... subsequent comment noted - ta!
