Flush Bracket on face of parapet of aqueduct, E. end of Leawood Tunnel [2GL]; bridge parapet, NW face, S side of canal, 8.7m NE of centre of river [actually the railway!].

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 275.8450 feet [84.0776 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Matlock to Melbourne levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on face of parapet of aqueduct, E. end of Leawood Tunnel.
