It was included on the Fareham to Southampton and Fareham to Winchester levelling lines. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on railway bridge, S. end of Portland Street, Fareham.

No sign of FB on viaduct piers at road level; FB presumably at rail level; height confirms this; would perhaps be visible from tall vehicle on adjacent A27 westbound flyover.

Not found on bridge piers below railway. Probably up on live rail line.
