This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 524.5460 feet [159.8816 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Brecon to Llandovery levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S. battlement of bridge at Ynys-y-bont.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Brecon to Llandovery levelling line.

Logged on 16th January 2006 by superswifteagle. Grid reference: SN 8358 3263. Condition: Destroyed.
Seems to have been on old bridge now gone. Layby nearby shows line of old road. New bridge (1935!) slightly upstream but seems to have wiped out all but one possible pier. Rivet on middle of new bridge.
