Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 184.7980 feet [56.3264 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Brampton Abbots to Suckley levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of bridge over River Leadon, near Prior's Court.

searched all 4 faces of bridge, no luck. Inscription "HCC 1414" on bridge, looks newish, but compare 424 which has survived on bridge with "HCC 421"

Couldn't see anything. Upper brickwork on north bridge parapet looks too modern.
