It was included on the Bromsgrove to Suckley levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of lock-keeper's house, Bevere Lock, River Severn.

S face of low brick pillar, W side of canal at lock. Apparently repositioned (doubtless with OS blessing) on new brick pillar when old lock-keepers cottage demolished {was E face of cottage].
