This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 259.3640 feet [79.0541 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Sapperton to Sharpness levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on W. face of bridge over canal at Valley Corner.

Agree with RHW. Concrete part of bridge looks newish, and I saw no sign of the FB as I peered behind the brambles.

Bridge with precast concrete sections altho deck and abutments look pretty old. Vegetation cleared (someone else had started the job) - no sign of FB
