This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 365.3560 feet [111.3605 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Buckland to Sapperton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of Park Leaze Bridge over canal.

There seems to be no bridge here any more. The road to the farm seems to have been built over what remains of the disused canal.
