This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 366.8500 feet [111.8159 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Buckland to Sapperton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.W. face of bridge over canal. 30 chains W. from Park Leaze Bridge.

Logged on 1st July 2006 by lackofluke. Condition: Probably destroyed.
The bridge is still there, and easily accessible by a path off the road, but it looks to have been partially rebuilt. The upper part of the bridge is brickwork and the lower part stone. The only number I found on the bridge was 1997, engraved into a stone set high on the NW face, quite possibly the year the rebuilding finished.
