Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 367.0750 feet [111.8845 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Buckland to Sapperton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on E. face of Coatsfield Bridge, over canal.

The towpath runs past the south end of the bridge, so I'd hope that the FB is/was on the south end of the bridge. However, even after shifting some moss from the bridge, I couldn't see it there. I hope it's not on the north end since there is a large pile of rubbish beside the north end of the bridge spilling into the disused canal.
