This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 584.5070 feet [178.1577 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Buckland to Sapperton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.E. angle of cart house, Manor Farm, Sapperton.

Sapperton- Manor Farm. N face W end of section of roofless wall - W from entrance. "NE angle of cart house" on 2GL abstract: evidently changed a bit, luckily the wall and FB survived
