It was included on the Greetland to Skipton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.E. face of the Clarence Hotel, Brearley.

This property has not been an inn or hotel in living memory, it was formerly The Mill Inn. It is now a private dwelling called Mill Hill House. Next door is Clarence House, I suspect the former inn was split into two seperate dwellings.
